Earth Day 2019 Celebration

with: Keynote speaker David Miller

Join us for a night of inspiration and celebration at the return of Vancouver’s largest Earth Day event! This year, we are excited to partner with ZEBx - Zero Emissions Building Exchange, a collaborative platform that strengthens the public, private and civic capacities for zero emission buildings.

OUR MISSION

Our mission is to help lead British Columbia's construction industry towards regenerative design and construction.  We work directly with Project Owners during the planning stage of projects to encourage more sustainable solutions.  The Living Future Vancouver Collaborative is a volunteer group of the International Living Future Institute.

LET'S DESIGN FOR THE FUTURE

The LFV Collaborative is a part of the Living Future Network: a group of engaged, global citizens who are working to bring sustainable design to their region

The Living Future Vancouver Collaborative is a volunteer group of the International Living Future Institute (ILFI).

ILFI is a hub for visionary programs. ILFI offers global strategies for lasting sustainability, partnering with local communities to create grounded and relevant solutions, including green building and infrastructure solutions on scales ranging from single room renovations to neighborhoods or whole cities.

ILFI administers the Living Building Challenge, the world’s most rigorous and ambitious performance standard. Going above and beyond LEED certification, Living Buildings strive for net-zero or net-positive energy, are free of toxic chemicals, and lower their energy footprint many times below the generic commercial structure.
