Our mission is to help lead British Columbia's construction industry towards regenerative design and construction.  We work directly with Project Owners during the planning stage of projects to create a structured process for the assessment of sustainable solutions.

The LFV collaborative is a cross-section of local leaders in the design and construction industry. We are committed to finding market solutions to deliver buildings that thrive.

The Living Future Vancouver Collaborative is a volunteer group of the International Living Future Institute (ILFI).

ILFI is a hub for visionary programs. ILFI offers global strategies for lasting sustainability, partnering with local communities to create grounded and relevant solutions, including green building and infrastructure solutions on scales ranging from single room renovations to neighborhoods or whole cities.

ILFI administers the Living Building Challenge, the world’s most rigorous and ambitious performance standard. Going above and beyond LEED certification, Living Buildings strive for net-zero or net-positive energy, are free of toxic chemicals, and lower their energy footprint many times below the generic commercial structure.
